Lots of good bikes, once again; love the Goat WTR and my Fat, along with a couple others.
So I thought, hypothetically, for which would I trade my 84 Fat, and it would have to be J_Westy's 1939 Schwinn DX...what a sweet Klunker; it gets my vote

Awesome bike to start with. Great parts selection. Build was very well documented here on Retrobike. Helpful thread for others here on Retrobike to follow with their own Klunker ideas/build.
The finished product is a work of art................

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of a klunker build to check out Jeffs threads here on Retrobike about the two prewar Schwinns he has completed. As you follow the passion in the posts, no doubt, your vote will be swayed....
