Very nice, I've been a gripshift fan since the srt-500's were top of the range.
The grey attacks are great I'm still running them on my modern bike. Fit a set of gore-tex cables and they will run for years with no maintenance.
Your entitled to you opionion fella, some people like them some people dont.. most of the time people dont really give them long enough, you need to adapt to using them, I used to think they were pants too , but after you give them some time and have changed the way you shift then they are ace..
I've been a fan of these for some time, and never had any shifting issues.. they are lighter, less moving parts,, easier if needed, to maintain.. all good attributes for a mountain bike shifter imho..
Your doing the world a great service by keeping these awful things away from rideable bikes . I'd wait a bit longer and gather a few more before doing the trip to the tip , you don't want to have to throw them away too often .
