This is my Alpinestars Cromega LX 1991

I bought the bike in its original form for £100
It came with a modern saddle, cheap(new) Vbrakes, Road slicks, low grade Shimano BB, cheap bar ends, and a selection of 400LX and 500LX which all had to go.

I added the LX M550 cantis, LX M550 chainset, UN52 BB, LX M550 Rear Mech, HG70 Cassette, and removed the bar ends, and bottle cage.

Also thanks to Mark who supplied the Saddle, Rear canti hanger, pedals, and tyres, which complete the build.

The future may hold some new spoke nipples to tidy it up around that area.

Thanks for all the positive words, it's sometimes hard to hold back and not upgrade these bikes too much with tricknology.

Wow HC you've done it proud, it looks vibrant! Amazing what a bit of spit and polish can do. Look forward to seeing it at the OWMTBC.
