Using the philosophy "which one would I like to take for a ride?"..

Ergo.. MaxP's SC for me.. Totally thrashable..

Very tough choice and thanks for the supportive words (and vote!) above.

I'm going to have a good think before casting and am torn between the beautifully specced ones with semi horizontal or horizontal dropouts (no need for a tensioner) or ones that are still very tasty but just put together from available parts using a tensioner (using existing bits/frames seems to be the ss ethos).

Decisions, decisions....

Thanks Kingroon, a vote!

I love the Klein roadie and the Orange but.....for anyone who missed the nomination topic:

BOTM September 07 - Single Speed machines !!

...there are lots of additional pics on there of lots of the bikes too - it's the pic of the dinky little Rock Lobster's rear drop outs that swung it for me in the end. :)

So many great bikes here but my vote goes to Messiah's Explosif, it has a great story attached to it and it's obviously well used and loved :D

Stu

thanks guys! im super happy with the build, and have been looking for an early bonty with the riveted cable guides for a while.the nice paint was a bonus for me

:D

Glad i'm not the only one who's unimpressed by well spec'ed, minty Kleins.

Gone for Stu's Bonty, nice and simple :)

i went for the explosif. you wouldnt take it home to mum, but it'd show you a few tricks behind the bike shed.
