Hum...

Seat post has been stuck for about 30 years, luckily at the right height.

It rides better with light wheels. I've sold the 27" MA-2 that were on this so I can go Shimano cassette.

what to do?

need ideas.

Is that the famous Norman? Slightly more retro bling I think: brown B17 and matching leather bar tape, plus a large flange hub on the front would look tasteful to me. A very highly polished rear hub is good. For rims: I'd go for anything silver ano or polished.

Definitely a 'less is more' one though.
