GT Zaskar pic wanted / FOUND 26/9/13 !!

I have all the catalogs and don't see what you are describing in any of them.
Was it perhaps a Zaskar Race model? Do you have any pictures of the frame you can post???

No sorry it was ages ago but I definitely had one pic which looked like a catalogue (studio shot - white background). Also had some pix (can't remember if they were ads or mag articles with the GT Team Riders riding them). Definitely recall a pic of the XCR above with blue back end and a Zaskar (matching) being ridden together.

One of my mates reckons they might have been specials for the US Olympic team (GT definately build the track bikes at the time).

I wasn't going mad !

Took delivery today of a 1999 GT catalogue and found the bike.
I had the colours wrong way round but it looks like the Team were running around with bikes almost identical to the all white Zaskar and Xizang but with blue at the front. There are numerous race bikes
in there with blue at front (like the 1st pic).
3rd pic looks like earlier version as the blue has straight edge rather than curved in from decals. Xizang shown in the scheme but as far
as I know they were all delivered all white.

So now just got to get hold of a white one and paint it I suppose !!

Cheers, that was way back when I was a Newbie (2000+ posts ago).
I'll have to thin the fleet a bit before I can justify a 1999 team replica Zaskar.

Currently getting the 94 model back together.
