GT Zaskar pic wanted / FOUND 26/9/13 !!

I told you this was driving me mad !

From what I’ve been able to fathom there was the ink blue with yellow forks
model in 96, the all white with red/white/blue decals appeared about 2000.
Followed by the 2 tone blue and yellow with black forks. This one must have
fitted in somewhere between 97 and 99 (think my Outpost was a 98 model).

I had a pic off the GT website as my wallpaper for ages. Must have been
around 2000/2001 (it was in the previous years section). I also have
(somewhere) a 1999 or 2000 GT or Tech shop catalogue which has it in.

I seem to remember this was around the time they moved Zaskar production
to Taiwan, but I think you could still order custom ones from the US (so maybe
it was a frame only job). Anyone know where I can get a scan of 1999 /2000
catalogue (still hunting for mine).

No probs, its infuriating I've had about 4 computers since I had the pic so no idea if I still have it on a disk.

Think I've looked at every Zaskar on the web in the last week.

Including this one !!

That crease in the top and down tubes is a bit worrying...

LOL it's ok I think they used to put a couple of big staples through to aid quick steering.

Yes I got it as a warranty replacement for a ball burnished one I bought that had an out of align back end.
