Would likely go to Roberts and see what they can do - not even sure on the gears / parts really, but I am either stuck in a late 80's rut with bikes else it would have to be so new the paint was still drying.
So for 5k, Roberts with something innovative about it and a nice break somewhere to ride it...
or,
Pinarello Dogma / Prince, the full crabon monty.. obviously with a generous cash input from myself. Then I would just sit there and stare at it and continue riding my old bikes.
