Evening all,
The time has come for me to give in to the ravages of time and fit compact gearing on my road bike, but I've come up against a formidable opponent - I don't have the tool to remove the Dura Ace 7700 bottom bracket! I naively assumed it would be the standard internally splined one that has served me well over the year, but it looks as though I need an entirely bigger affair, with six external notches/prongs.
I only need the tool as a one-off to remove the BB forever, so don't particularly want to go out and buy so - so does anyone have one I could borrow for a day of two? Failing that, I guess I'm heading for the LBS!
