Yes there is the distinct smell of Irn Brew and battered Caramel Bars drifting over the Cheviots into Morpeth this morning. All the shops are boarding up and women and children are heading for the Pele Towers. By noon I expect the clatter of 5000 Alivio and Exage rear mechs to pass our home to crys of 'Whes ar votin button yer sassanach bawbags'

Throughout my home town the click of padlocks being opened and oaths and curses being shouted as bikes are dragged from sheds is quite audible.

2nd Midlothian MacRetro are to assemble at the war memorial for a rousing speech before we head for Coldstream to mass on our side of the tweed

Got to be the Donkis nob for me this month, its a great bike and the pic of it being used is fantastic

Rear mechs? I would've thought they'd all be on singlespeeds...

Anyway how many days before Warwick is sacked and the walls of Retrobike HQ are stained with malt and hydraulic brake fluid...?

Poll updated to include Mr Panda's orange. A few points

-Clearly I forgot to add it to the voting list. The poll takes quite a while to do and errors are possible. Next time if I make a mistake why not drop me a PM and I can sort it out directly.
-If I were intending to make a slur against the MacRetro clan and all of Scotland I like to think I might have come up with something a little more cutting than leaving a bike out of a poll.
-I tried to choose the best pic for each bike, would've like to use all riding pics but sadly some weren't up to scratch.
-We here at the Retrobike HQ are ready for the MacRetro onslaught. If you're passing Nothumberland now on your singlespeeds reckon you should be with me tea time wednesday if you don't get lost. When I hear the sounds of the Proclaimers (I could walk 500 miles natch) in the distance will be sure to raise the draw bridge and prepare the hot tar.
