I reckon a 99 frame is ok, plenty of us have modern bits on our bkes so thats no problem.

As I said, it's just for fun so if you nominate it, we'll enter it as long as it generally fits the description..

not really an MTB but at least it has a flat bar and i could put narrow cross tires on
