free hubs

I want to replace a Shimano 14-28 free hub with something a bit more closely spaced, 6 or 7 speed...looked on ebay and there are loads of 14-28Ts and not much else, maybe the odd dura ace race set of 12-17 straight thru; anyone know of anything in between? 13-25 would be ideal :D

Have a look on SJS or SPA cycles, they usually stock freewheels so they might have some thing more suitable. Or you could try modifying the freewheel to get the ratios you want.

I think that's a cassette? ( not screw on ) I'll check tho... thanks!

You mentioned Freehub, so I assumed cassette..
If you had said freewheel on the other hand I would have also pointed out SJS like others.

I'll keep an eye out for cheaper though.
