I bought this frame about 6 months ago directly from Ibis owner Scot Nicol. He saved this frame from the original Ibis company and never rode it. He used it for his induction ceremony into the MTB Hall of Fame in Italy. I contacted him and asked if he had anything old that he wanted to sell.

I just had the NOS Morati cranks (serial #0017) installed and swapped out some older Paul's crosstop brake for a newer style. Bike weighs 20.2 lbs. and was at 19.6 when I was riding these wheels tubeless.

I guess I'll submit it for BoTM the next time it can be eligible

I am just nipping to the loo ;)

Thats better ;) Twice in one day too  You guys must stop posting bike porn up on here :p

The Ti Mojo frames are crazy light. My 14.5" weighed 2 lbs 13 oz., just unbelievable!!

Nice build, btw.

Yep, this one came in at 3 lbs. 2 ozs.

OK, I hate to do this, really hate to do it, but I have a teeny weeny weeny niggle.... it looks great, but, well, I'd be sorely tempted to get the XTR trigger mounts and adjusters stripped and re-anodised in red to match the brake levers, cross-tops and bottle cage. But that's just me being an arse!

The gold bits are shimano Yumeya parts and they match the pedals Not cheap and I don't know any place to get parts anodized.

Re:

hello everybody,

I've been trying to do some research but it has not been very fruitful so far but I came across this thread here. So I thought you guys might have a suggestion:

I have a question regarding the contemporary value of an ibis mojo 1998 steel frame, frame only.
How much would that be worth today if it is in a good condition?

any suggestions welcome,

cheers!
frank
