Nice! and almost sti*mano free. ;)

The Steelman frame is a real beauty.

al. :D

... that is awesome!!!! I love the steelman stuff.. pure bike-sex!

The seat tube angle looks quite steep - how does it handle? And do you have a chain -stopper to stop it dropping to the inside?

Took me bloody ages to drill that brooks, workshop smelt like a BBQ

thanks dave!
and thanks for the saddle, it's pretty darn comfortable...

chain hasn't dropped yet, and i've been on rather rough terrain.

the angles are not quite like they seem on the first photo...
here it is, corrected. it's classic angles, really (though i haven't measured yet). handling is exceptional! best cornering bike i own.

measured angles are 71°/74°
frame was built around a Marzocchi Z2 which if my infos are correct is 440mm a>c
the fox is slightly higher (450mm sagged)

thanks. your forks work great by the way!

new version comes with different michelin tires and a modernish wtb saddle as i figured that the brooks didn't enjoy much being washed.

Lovely Steelman. Not built for you I take it? Custom or stock angles?

i can only guess but i do think it's one of the production frames. there is very little info about those on the www
