Hi, I'm thinking about buying a road bike for the winter when funds allow.

I havent had a racing bike since I was about 13 so I know very little about what size I need etc.

I'm 6ft 2" with a 33" inside leg, what size should I look for?

My MTB's are all 18/19" with longish stems and 175mm cranks.

Thanks for any help.

Road bike positioning is a lot more critical than mtb bikes. I'd always advise trying out at a reputable shop. Lots more variables than height and inside leg, level of flexibility and torso length are probably more relevant as well as intended use.

Top tube length is as important as the seat tube measurement

Try some bikes out for size, either borrowed retrobikes or pop into your LBS & try a few for size

Although roughly speaking as a starting point Steve Kish is about right with a 60ish cm frame for your height/inside leg, a 56cm frame fits me quite well @ 5'9" & 31"inside leg
