PACE RC200 F1

Excellent work - remember to send pics of the finished article to the guy you bought it off. Maybe when he sees the time you've put into it he'll click that it was worth more than a newspaper & asda bag.

Looking good buddy,

Tim's pretty awesome for finding hard to get Pace bits, indeed where would we be without him :)

A few more things acquired. Not much left to buy now, a cassette, and some cables, oh and how to finish it of course.
On a lighter note, the chaps in the machine shop where I work only took a couple of days to make me a new collar, as the other one was mashed by that t*at trying to get the 27.2 in
Looks quite good I think.

Cheers...Nick

Now the frame is finally devoid of stuck seatpost(s) and other inconveniences, I finally have all the parts to put it together. It will be assembled using the bits below. I know it won't be to everyones taste as when I next post, the frame & forks won't be that colour  (but I promise to buy another one in the future and keep it original for the purists ;) ).

The quality of this build just blows me away!. you must have spent an absolute mint, but it will be worth it when its built.

Well done, Are you gonna ride it with all thoose NOS parts, I hope you do, but I would understand if you didn't.

Passiflora :)

Some mighty fine kit going on this frame. The attention to detail is top notch

Hi mate your bikes going to look super cool when its done -did you manage to take the disc mount off your frame or did you leave it on still

Cheers mate.

Vernon Barker advised it could cause more harm than good trying to remove it (being aluminium)
Also is the seatpost in you pic the seatpost you had done in titanium looks nice
That was it as bare titanium, it is away being rainbow anodised at the moment, (could look shocking  ). Fork crown and seat clamp collar are being anodised gunmetal/dark grey.
Whens your bike going to be finished
The piece of string I am holding says about 4 weeks. :D
