Hi guys
I am building up a bike for a friend of mine to do a ride to Amsterdam next year. Given the destination I thought something with a Dutch history would be good so picked up a Concorde Gavina frame from early 90's. Just trying to find a bit of history on the frame before I decide what to use groupset-wise. Does anyone know where the 'Gavina' stood in the Concorde hierachy? And would it have been one of the Concorde frames built in Italy by Ciocc?
I was thinking 8spd DA, ergo's n'all... That a good call, or should I be looking at 9sp?... Campy maybe?.
Any guidance would be great. I can't seem to find that much on Gavina frame on the net for some reason.
