I just had a look at the offending innertube,

Its split in 2 places :shock: :shock:

Probably the original tube to the bike :roll:

I guess 16yrs sitting in a tyre is gonna fatigue anything huh?

& thanks to Velo for patching my chain up after it spat its dummy out too ;)

it wasnt that extreme , just a little faster than most folk would class as safe :LOL: :LOL:

the weird thing is both brakes are working not too bad now ? strange :?
 
Very odd affair by the sound of it.

Strangely odd considering the wording of a PM I recieved last week.

"Hello, thought I see if you'd maybe like to do an evenings sociable non intense mtb'ing this Friday evening in the Pentlands. "
