1992 Bridgestone RB-T

Dirt Disciple
Here's gis_guru's Bridgestone RB-T that we restored over the winter. It's a blast to tool around on. The frame was originally dark metallic green with plenty of scrapes and some rust starting to show. We had it media-blasted, powder-coated, and created our own decals.

With the bull-moose stem and straight bar it's definitely not happiest during out of the saddle pedaling and there's a lot of toe overlap with the long cranks. The geometry seems pretty tight to me for loaded touring, but it's a smooth ride nonetheless.

Very chic touring/commuter bike. I could see myself owning such for the mentioned purposes. My current is a 50s Belgian gran toursimo.

Wow, that looks lovely, top job. Maybe some bullhorns to overcome the out-of-the-saddle thing?

HEY! What do you mean you rode it last night? Keep off my bike.
:x
Just kidding, just put it away clean.
