Newbie saying hello!

Welcome aboard shipmate!

Before you rush out and buy some crap retro manitous.Have you tried the other methods?

These things do work for some people and will help with numb hands.

firstly raise your bars slightly or try a bar with a different sweep or rise
Play around with grips its not always the fatter ones that work for some
but most important is to wear a good pair of mits. theyre not made to make you look like an old shaved roady but are designed to protect your palms and wrists from soarness by protecting the nerves which is usualy the cause of hand pain

Hope this helps a little. Al. the old sensible chap in cornwall.

Cheers Al

I'm comfortable on the bike set up wise I've got a higher stem and good grips (see pic on riders bike  ) - it's just the vibration from the rough tracks I ride - last thing to try I suppose is -as you suggest some better padded gloves
Watch this space!! Any recommendations on the glove front???

Hi Dave, Buying anything like gloves, shoes, shorts etc is a very personal
choice but saying that i love the feel of pearl izumi mits with lycra.

Cheers, Al

Hi Dave O! Welcome to the site. I used to sell GT's in 1994 and Rockshox were a manufacturers option - someone here is selling some Mag21's which wouldbe ideal. They won't affect your geometry and (so long as they work properly) will IMO resolve your problem. I'm a front suspension fan though!

Kev

Thanks Kev - seen them - looks like they would do the trick if they fit...

Makes me feel better that they were an option when new :D :D

Do you remember the Borrego from when u sold them? - I've never seen another one since I bought mine....
