Is fitting suspension forks to a retro MTB a faux pas?

ok...that's it. Have decided to extend my forks rather than change to sussy's....take a look....ah! That's much better :LOL:

The parts are retro:

Steering wheel taken from my Dad's vauxhall viva estate

Seat taken from my Raleigh Commando...and that yellow light, lets just say I found it at the side of the road...ahem :LOL:

I've got a pair of these in gold for grabs... if you have a very short steerer indeed!!!!!

Came off a 15.5" Kona! Ridden about 3 times, if that!
