That's quite a collection of Alpinestars you have there. What's next on the 'to buy' list ? ;)

Thanks, :D

To be honest this wasn't on the to-buy list, but it came up so close to home I'd have been crazy not to get it (even though I'm pretty much on a spending ban at the moment ;) )

Some might say he has too many Alpinestars and a hankering for an aluminium 'O'

...... all we know is that he's called GT-Steve!

Another great Alpinestar in the collection Steve - for me it's one of the coolest 'most wanted' from back in the day.
Get Pedall'in in Colchester used to stock these as well as the Zolatone Marins - used to loiter a long time in there dreaming of owning one!

However, now I've got one ( thanks to your goodself!) you've given me a dilema of what to do with it. :? I was going to do the usual boy'O'boy full resto with period parts but seeing yours - should I do something different?
What about turning mine into an Al - Mega XT? - haven't seen any (non-broken) ones of those on here.... or an Al-Mega DX in a different fluro colour?
Mine's definately a DX as the Fluro yellow was under the repaint when I stripped it. It lost it's identity sometime ago with that re-paint and a full DX gruppo is a right pain in the arse to get hold of at the moment ( let alone the Alpinestar specific front mech in that flavour!)
Any thoughts?......

Cheers,
boy"O"boy

Cheers Ben,

And yeah I forgot to bid on the Aluminium'O' that enat ended on ebay last night - AT 26 BLEEDIN' QUID!!!!!!!

I feel your dilemma in terms of build, for me it would probably be a case of creating an XT-a-like, as (like you say) you just don't see them.

Can't remember now, what fr mech was on the one you bought? LX/DX or XT?

Very nice Steve

Is it gonna be a rider :?:

And why do i never find "Gold" just down the road
