Retro Newbie
hi there,
here's a pic of my 1993 jamis dakar, frame manufactured by serotta, tube ritchey logic prestige. was positioned against brodie sovereign etc.
i haven't found any information or pics in the internet about this bike, seems to be pretty rare. a guy from serotta mentioned that they only did a couple of frames.
has anyone more informations, pics?

it's a real pleasure to ride, very well balanced.

cheers,

b.

the geometry is for fixed forks, the tange switchblade works fine. originally, it had a ritchey fork...

Really nice

The forks seen a little short though?

I know its for fixed forks, but the Tange just look too short to me. I wonder if the original Ritchey forks were slightly longer.

I mean no disrespect fella. Thats a really nice looking bike :)

i justed checked it - both forks have pretty much the same length :) maybe the tange looks a bit stumpy due to the big bridge?

maybe it's an optical illusion but if you ignore the very long stem, the forks look more in proportion.

Wow, what a nice frame and colour!
Never seen one of these before either.
I just bought a '94 Dragon (raw metal) that looks a lot like this geometry.
But not with these nicce tubes...
Do you know why this was build by Serotta?
Would like to seen more pics.
