Never really thought about it, but whats the difference between the two?

Had a quick google and not obvious, sure someone here will know straight away!

ta..

SL had titanium bolts titanium bolts, a bonded crown (2nd gen SL's) and an aluminium steerer

Anything anyone else can remember?

Jim

If you're talking about the 90s Judys then the SLs had Ti bolts all over, Ti bosses and an Ali steerer tube. The XC was all steel bolts and steerer and wasn't a nice yellow colour!

shame you can't change steerer - mine 15mm too short

The Travel of the SL was half an inch extra. If I am not mistaken the line was:

Judy XC: 2"
Judy SL: 2 1/2"
Judy DH: 3" (!)

Too bad the original fork boots are a pain to get.

original SLs were also bolted on steerer/crowns. I think the stantions on SLs were supposed to be easton alu. sl crown was deffo more polished.
in all honesty aside from slightly longer travel, a few ti bolts & a different coat of paint SLs were a rip off for £200more retail..
