great bike, but the riser bars and long stem make it look a bit odd. Add some flat bars and I'd be wetting my pants :twisted:
 
your dads bike? I hope he gives it a good bashing!! That would explain the lower seat/higher bars I guess.

Love the older DEANs. What forks and stem are they? Look interesting.
 
LOL..nah, He's into the whole comfort thing, thats why the relaxed ride posture set-up

Not too sure bout the forks but they weigh 565 grams in total!
These stems were manufactured by a brand called aerolite.
 
Always loved deans. Great looking bikes. Remember the old adverts for them in MBA with the dean post and stems and the gold chain! Fantastic! So has he owned that since new or is he a newly found retro-er too?
 
Bought the Frame Brand New back in 1996 = )

Can't agree less, the bike would look so nice with straight bars!

The new parts were added due to wear a tear and the bar for more upright posture. You know how it is with age..
