1998 GT LTS 4000

After I cut the bolt through the collar it twisted out quite easily, thankfully..
It's stupid short, didn't have too far to pull it..
Although, there's loads of gluey type stuff all over the place.. including on the post, down the tube.. it's pretty manky generally..

Little update.. been taking the thing apart..

Got it to this point

Because I don't know how to get that bush out

And I can't get 1 side of the BB off. . got a socket on it, a 2ft extension bar, Wifes' weight on the frame, me bouncing on the bar - it's creaked 3 or 4 times but bugger me it's tight

Checked I'm turning it the right way on the Avalanche frame. .

Think it was anti-clockwise to undo.. that sound right??

Yeah.. it came out (with a bit of a bang... and turning it the right way  )

Frame's being checked out tomo and will scrap it if necessary.. but it'll never be ridden hard anyway - road, singletrack, nothing too hard fast or gnarly...

 sweet
well, as i said dont ride it hard and it *should* be fine, obviously lbs will advise more accurately but you could just build it and replace front end as and when
