14 lbs Serotta T-Max...

These people do realise that they're a little insane?

WTF is the point of making a bike so light it's unridable? I'm all for light parts if it floats your boat and you afford it but to have scary stuff like suspension forks with one empty leg just reeks of unhealthy obsession.

:shock: A little :shock: I'd say complete 100% mad :LOL: But i'm a weight weenie :oops: I lost 2 oz at the weekend changed grips to Bonti foams :)
 
That Scott Scale is less than a third the weight of my Marin.

If ever I replace parts on my new bike, I do consider the weight, but in my heart I know that there are far greater weight savings to be made much closer to home. I could probably lose the weight of my entire bicycle without being under weight. :oops:
