As title states though, can't play on her yet....having a dilema regarding the build..plus still need to source a nice aheadset for her.

So..build wise....I have some slightly later 90's kit..M950, Middleburn cranks, Crossmax wheels..

Or...M900, ( expect R/mech ) Specialized Direct drive cranks, 231's on M900.

Or M737/8/, M739 cranks ( or the Spesh ) Ritchey Vantage rime on 730/2.

Tyres, saddle etc..will depend on the choice of the other components..

She is going to be used...hence my erring toward the slightly newer kit..

Doesn't it flow from what type of brakes you want to use? I think it looks slightly odd if the groupset is older than the frame, so that would exclude M900 for me. If you want to use cantis, M910 would be perfect, but I feel sure most owners of a 95 S-Works BITD went over to Vs as soon as they came out, so since M950 came out in 96 M950 would be perfect for me.

Good point...

Would like to use 910..but sadly have none.

Think I will try the 950 build first...

That is going to be a fast whip! Looks good so far- but never mind how it looks get it built asap for this lovely summer weather! My old S Works was lovely to ride on hard singletrack trails.
