Mid-school DJ bikes - Metalhead, Jack Flash etc, anyone?

Let's be honest - I ain't gonna find a 14" retro frame for restoration (used to ride tiptoe on a 16" back in the day :? ) and my '90 16.5" Fire Mountain just looks daft with it's high rise stem and the seat right down so it'll be ebayed soon but I need another project . . . inspire me!

Anyone on here own a late 90s Metalhead, Club Roost Stinger, Planet X or the like?

Just gave away a DMR frame never been built up :? not sure what size they were but pretty small weren't they ? not too sure what the geometry was like on them though :? but I'm sure someone on here will know

Its red with white decals from about 1999/2000

I'll give him a shout if you want and see if he's actually going to use it

Alternatively theres a nos club roost stinger frame (I think) in my lbs, its been there years and they have little chance of shifting it if you want me to find out more details.

my brother used to ride a jack flash BITD. i thought it was horrible.

Cheers for all the replies - the Bonty and T24 sound ace but I reckon may be out of my price range

- Fire Mountain and Stinger sound very interesting though - I had a '96 Cinder Cone (lovely matte cherry red paint job - like velvet it was - sigh). If it's an early DMR I reckon it may be a little too big - the early Trailstars were 16" iirc (I've owned a couple of Sidekicks which were great).
