Bargains - but what cassette/freewheel?

Picked up some boot fair bargain wheels today, C-Record wheels on Mavic GP4 purple label, Shimano 105 on GP4 red label, a 600 front on a GP4 red label, a tub rimmed fixed/free l/f rear and a Normandy l/f rear with clincher. All for £5!!

Anyway, the C-record wheels have a 6 speed block on there, but I don't know if it is a cassette or freewheel, (although I'd assume freewheel as it has a 6 speed block) and I don't know what brand it is, or what remover to use - it appears to be attatched via a lockring, like a track lockring but with more tangs.

The 105 wheels have a freehub for a cassette, but I don't know how many speeds it will take - any measurements I can make to check?

6sp Campag wheels will be a screw-on freewheel. Don't know if Campag and Shimano 6sp freewheels have different spacings, but anything still on the market these days will almost certainly be for the latter.

P.S. Posted your parcel yesterday afternoon - let me know as and when the mechs turn up OK.

If you check out sheldon browns website then there is quite a lot of information on freewheels and cassettes, including spacing between sprockets and upgrading old wheels.
