Here's my 1998 XLM
Intending to loose the stem+handlebar+seatpost for a set of Ti bits = >
Really hoping to find me a nice slim silver crankset too!

Any advice?

Crickey I didn't think they made sloped top tube ones back then.

Funny how all of us XLM owners seem to lean towards carbon forks isn't it?

Why compromise on weight i suppose. They are properly light ti frames.

Very nice mate, like it.

Maybe we should have an XLM owner's club section - ;)

Nice Bike :D

I allso have a XLM (2005) with the same Pace RC-31 Ti (custom made 420mm version).
Its a great fork in a outstanding frame.

I am looking forward to see it with titanium components.

I've only got a humble Merlin Mountain ('96) but I do have Pace RC-31's on it. :D

Nice looking bike fella.

Very tidy looking indeed and the forks really compliment it.

As an aside, I've always thought it a shame that Pace (or the other similar carbon fork manufacturers) don't do a rim brake only version although I guess there probably isn't the market.

But the dropouts do look cool in that they are asymetrical as the disc one is shallower.

I kind of like redundent disc mounts. Shows a definate choice of rejecting decent braking options! Ha ha.

Merlin owners club then boys? As you all are.

Steve - we could stick XLM stickers on yours - ;) (JOKE).

RB Merlin owners club it is then. :D

Fab, I've never been in a club before who is designing the logo? Or do we just need a tiny, discreet, classy logo for the top tube? Or a handshake (this one is a beautiful straight line, please someone do it justice)?

Denied access!

Clearly the content is too 'adult' for me (white Porcs, Disc Drives and various CNC'd mechs I'll warrant).

Will try to sort it out for next time

That'll be Tony's inproper thoughts I'd imagine - definately adult only! ha ha.

sorry to hijack your thread Cypher -
