it was me that put them on, when i was a puny 15 year old. i was surprised that my 15 year old legs couldnt undo my puny 15 year old arm-doings.

left hand crank came off fine

the old STX's that needed a pace spider adapter to take regular rings. i was gutted when they got knackered - even if it was my own fault

anyone who has a set, my pm button is down there...

Cif is best for cleaning your hands after a mechanic session

Doesn't that dry your skin? ;) What 'hand cream' do you use after?

Best stuff is the Swarfega with the 'bits' in it - more abrasive... personally I use latex gloves (worries my wife!)...

old derailures doing your head in,
bike a little heavier than you would like

tip

remove gears so there is just one left!

sheds pounds off your bike and ends up very smooth and quiet
and looks nicer too
