Okay all, please have a looksey. NEED RIMS

agrove

Devout Dirtbag
Lets cut straight to the point here, I'm off to a retro bike "outing" near the end of august. I need to collect a ton of parts to build up the beloved woodsbike before we go. I currently have hubs, and front/rear cantis. Rear der. front der. and levers/shifters. What i really really need are a set of rims. NEW preferably, but beggers cant always be choosers.

Money isnt really an issue... So shoot anything you have my way.

Oh, and if you're wondering what the woods bike is persay, take a look. Its the 4th bike down.

EDIT:: I also would LOVE to find a set of new or like new correct era tires.

TY!!
A Grove

I have a nice set of rims for you:

The rims are straight and good.

But they have been used? If so, Let me wait a few days to see what else I can find. I really want some new rims, but if I have to go used, then I have to go used

if agrove isnt interested in those rims, i may be :)

first choice to agrove ofcourse.

That is good to know! What is the turn-around time like?

Also... I know nothing about Araya rims, how do they hold up, what were they like in the retro days compared to say... mavic?

Turnaround is ok, took about a week for something to the UK last time.

Araya rims were fitted to all the marins BITD so they can't be bad, I have a set of xt on RM395's and no complaints there, I like em better than the common mavics
