Fixed gear, Single speed - our projects

Sorry, just off to feed the dog.

I have been tinkering with this frame over the past month, it's had a clean and the reflector has gone since this photo was taken.
It's an MBK Super Sport 12, made of good old Hi-tensile 707 tubing with a lovely fluoro paint job. Size is 58cm.
I've respaced and dished the rear wheel and set it up with a fixed wheel sprocket, I have a lockring but have not fitted it, it's the original rear wheel, the rim is not in great condition but it's only running a front brake.
Front wheel is ok, it has a nice pair of 28 Bontrager tyres.
The gearing is the inner chain ring 42 and a 14 tooth sprocket, which equates to around an 80 inch gear, great for the chaingang but not so good if you have to go up hill.
Brake is an adapted Kona MTB one, Onza grips and bare bars for the look, Campag pedals, cheap Selle Italia saddle, seatpost reluctant to move but fits me.
The frame has some chips and cable rub to the paint and cracking to the paint at the Headtube/Downtube joint, it also appears to have had a knock at the rear and could do with the alignment checking.
Gave it a shakedown 25 mile ride last night.
