Yes, I can't pull or twist with it and there's a general ache (with Ibuprofen) but it must be getting better.
I could probably ride a bike, I just don't want to risk it.
Also I wanted ChrisV40 to know so he can figure out what he's doing, like take the family for a day out and leave them

I may still come down since the wife can now drive (I cannot :roll: ) and I managed to get her near Malton to get some distance in. But it's up to her as it would be the first Motorway trip and the family would be coming along. I guess time, her mood and the weather will play a part there.
Though probably not to ride.

Salty... Hit the A1 at the angel and get off at tuxford, sign posted for Lincoln. If you want I'll meet you at the shell garage there as I'll be heading that way. Should take you no longer than 2 1/2hrs. There's a section of av speed which will make you question the will to live though!

Got the use of the car or the mrs ( who like Daves it seems is also called Rachel ) will come too , I'm not sure what she will do for the day though .

What kinda time do we expect to wrap the day up ? I know a few have to get off earlyish , Will the woods people get annoyed if we hang around and have a few drinks after ? what time do they close the place up these days ? ( still seems strange that you can close woods :? )

Is it worth throwing a few phone numbers around in PM ? would suck for people who are traveling a distance to get held up on the way and we had already just set off .

Shall we say make a bee line to the grassy bit between the shop and food cabin near to the carpark edge so we are easily spotted ? I seem to recall a bench there . Would be less silly than standing in small groups looking at each other muttering " are they with us "

Looks like there will be several wifes walking around doing some thing/nothing while we are enjoying the joy of off road cycling
