Any body recommend a B&B? As we will be coming to this meet. Me & Trimble (meet) plus wife (will go touristing round not cycling) But depends on a BB for a 2 or 3 nights :D

Tintin that would be awesome. Never seen a trimble in the flesh either.

I don't know the area well enough to be able to suggest anywhere but i'll ask a mate. Might be worth putting a thread up in the midlands section so it doesn't get lost in here.

Matt, is there a land mark in the car park everyone can head for?

:D Add me and a Trimble to that growing list of people. B&B booked. Now sort the w@nker trains out.

cool just had a text back from my mate and he said he "doesnt roll with b and b's but can recommend some lovely 5 star hotels"

guess he's in one of them moods!

where are you staying? how will you be getting to the pines?

5 star i wish.
the bridleways B &B is right near the pines according to the map. so cycling there.
And near to the robin hoods area. So the wife will be happy all day taking in local culture.
Every ones a winner

things to remember for the pines.

1. dont be ill.
2. sleep the night before
3. dont have a hangover

really looking forward to this. wish it was this weekend.

logistics then. i can take my truck and 5-7 bikes depending on barbeque being needed or not.

can we engineer it so andy, chris or chris drive and carry people, bikes in the truck.

i'm assuming ben, andy, chris and chris, me. possibly mike. possibly my mrs but she'll probably take her car.

;) sort me out a time and postcode folks so i can work out times for coming down from geordie land, cheers.

It's cheaper and easier for me and Chris not to come across the bridge.
My Wife is also thinking of making the day of it as the kids will like the forest, since she can drive and we've bought a car :D

I'm VERY glad it's not this weekend, I still cannot ride a bike, hand still hurts and may have to get it looked at it it still playing up :( Can't even fettle as putting strain on it just makes it worse
