If you looking for a breakfast go to the main Visitor Centre, Purple Helm*t won't be open till well after 10am and are more Tea and Cake level
Their good for cake later on in the day though...
Should be down about 9.30 for a nice cup of coffee on the balcony
If you get into the forest before 9am you might miss the toll gate as well
