Campag Record Pista Crank Question?

Campag Question...

Do all Campag Record Pista cranksets usually have an anodised finish?
Even the 151 BCD, early pre 1967 ones?

If anyone can tell me that would be great. Cheers.

Yeah, the pre 67 finish is the same as all the pista cranks up to the C-record era when they got all highly polished. as far as I know!

Thanks for the reply. I've got what I think are some pre 67 ones on their way.

I'd have to de-anodise to polish them then. I'll see what their condition is like first.

A 151 BCD ring might be a bit trickier to find too. Are the 151 BCD ones desirable because their older? Or generally avoided due to the obsolite ring size?

There are just fewer rings around now, but they don't go for a great deal more than modern track rings 20-30 on ebay. I have one you could have for the postage, you interested in a 48 or 49 tooth?

Would love a ring in return for the postage. Do you mean you have a 48 and a 49? Or do you mean you're not sure it's a 48 or a 49! If it's a choice, are they both 1/8? Or 3/32? Might make up my mind on which one. But not overly important! 49t would be quite tempting, up my gearing!
