Help with servicing Judy XC Forks.

I've just had a thought. The bronze/gold XCs on my Saracen probably have never been apart. Before I dive in anyway does anyone have any advice? Will I need any spares or can all the seals etc be reused? What replacement fluids are needed? Does it need any or are they elastomer/air? As I have never had to pump them up I assume the use of oil of some sort. Any help would be most welcome.

Commonly asked question, do a search here and you'll find all the answers you need.

They are elastomer, and when you open them up, expect them to be completely smoked and in pieces. The cartridge as well. I would forego getting new ones and wait for a pair of speed springs to pop up on Ebay.

PM me your email and Ill send you the 96 manual.

Cheers for that website. Very useful and I would never have thought of typing that into google![/quote]

When in doubt gut them and drop in a pair of EKO/Englund Total Air cartridges. Granted they're out of production, but there always seems to be a few pairs floating around on eBay.
