Sadly no longer mine, this is my Maestro T16 turbo. Used a transplanted and forged engine from a Rover 620ti. Standard-ish looks concealed 280+bhp and 300+lbft torque for lots of fun, both on road and track:-

maestro rocks!!! weve a couiple of naughty meastros in scunny,one did very well at totb a few years ago

think he held the fastest fwd 1/4 for a year or so.

That would be Andy Nicholls. Same set-up as mine with a T16 engine but much more developed at about 650bhp, IIRC. Car was white first and then re-sprayed blue with 'AN Racing' decals all over it.

Mine was actually the first T16 Maestro in the UK, built in 1996 and shown on 'Top Gear' shortly after that.

cool,yup that was him,think hes playing with vws now but could be very wrong.a mates ex father in law was andys friend/competition.his engines now in a 5 dr new shape rover,sleeper with 500 plus brake.
