Pretty bizar geo huh

The Hothead combo =>

The HOThead is heat treated, the Hammerhead isn't. Because of the treatment lighter tubing could be used while maintaining the strenght.

Clockwise =>
1) Euclid steel headset
2) mix of bits all working properly together: XC Ltd mech, XC Pro bb, DX cranks
3) track style ends, DX mech
4) seriously hard core fork

Made a complete photo footage of the build. You can view it here:

I really like these frames, something about the way they've gone off in their own direction and ignored all the lightweight and racer geometry trends. Bring on the rocky rooty trails :)

Yes, that is a Michelin Wildgripper. I have it on more bikes. Works really well. Looks tough, so great for bikes like a Grove HC.

Another beautiful build Melvin. As Manitou916 says I love the colour combo but having never seen a Grove before have to ask "is that original or your idea?"

Hi,

It is a not original colour. It is powdercoated too. Normally Groves look very colourfull with splitter splash etc. and they have a wet paint. View it all here =>

Cool site.

The former owner gave it the green powdercoated finish. Former owner was 10th anni/wicked/yo Marc from Germany btw.

I built the framekit to complete bike. Forummember yo-eddy had the Bullseye wheels laying around and he donated it to the project. Thx yo! Good purpose :D In fact then the green/red theme was born. For the finishing touch some red cable ends ...and viola!
