Hi folks.
How do I identify a 531 tubed colnago?
It may not even be a colnago but its badged as such.
Has LEX stamped on the right dropout.
Painted in white with blue flashed in at the head, seat and bb areas.
Curved forks, forward facing dropouts with a stop screw at rear.
will post a pic soon.
Help appreciated.

I think fake Colnagos are as omnipresent as real ones. Yours does not sound like the later...

Aye its not colnago, sorted that out.
It's not mine either, am just making it roadworthy for someone.
Aint been on a roadie for about 30 years  and that was a Raleigh Criterion :D

There were a lot a fake Colnago transfers (and other Italian brands) around 20 or so years ago and they were fitted indiscriminately by people when they had a frame resprayed. I've just sold a Peugeot with Colnago transfers and this had the SIMPLEX rear drop-outs and the Peugeot Lion on the fork crown.
