don't really like the doubling back over the same route aspect, esp if it is pretty tough, would have hated to have doubled back on the BM route, the changing landscape gives you fresh legs.

Unless you've got eyes in the back of your head the return leg of any route should appear different

ha ha smart arse, what I mean is, on the return leg, you would know the terrain, hills and the vista's would all seem a bit familiar- my passes are hard earned so need to be pretty particular :roll:
