several bits including dynatech ti frame

Looks optimisticly described as titanium and metal matrix. But the frame
as shown has the larger lugs of earlier Dynatech bonded frames, and
looks more like a Mission frame to me (black tubes, silver lugs) and
made of steel.

Hope whoever is bidding at nearly a hundred quid has confirmed the
frame is as described, a Mission frame in that condition is worth no
where near a hundred quid.

I thought this was an early one, as I had a friend with one. Knew it wasn't light, but was pretty sure the main tubes were ti?

Is that the same frame with stickers intact? Looks like a 1990 model
Dynatech with 'RALEIGH' on the down tube - 1991 models had
'DYNA-TECH' stickers there. My 'Encounter' has similar stickering.

2070 is steel tubing, essentially Reynolds 653. My 'Encounter' is
lowly 2060 tubing (Reynolds 531). The high-end stuff was 2080 or
2090 tubes (ultra rare I suspect and not sure there were any
'consumer' models).

This frame is off a US site which may explain the decals being in a different place but I am pretty sure they were the same colour & spec over here as they were over there.

I,m convinced the frame ont bay is exactly the same as the one above making it not titanium as listed.

That's probably a UK frame - if it were US it'd be 'RALEIGH USA'. The
other decals look identical to my 1990 Encounter - the pink/yellow on the
seat tube. It's certainly what appears to be a UK 1990 Dynatech Mission.

I think we are of the same opinion! Not ti, not metal matrix.

A nice frame though. But £97 (at time or writing) is a lot of money
for a steel Dyna Tech frame only.

It is a mission, steel frame. I thought the only bike with those lugs and metal matrix was the hens teeth team only frame

That's my understanding too. :p

I don't understand eBay sellers describing frames being made from
exotic materials - without checking using a magnet first! Nothing wrong
with a steel frame, of course
