yes, both buying and selling.
when buying, i all ways opt for pick up.i want to see the item in question before i pay up.(plus no chance of " gee, i sent that out last week. you should have gotten it by now)

Sometimes people are willing to ship, but you need to be pretty trustworthy. The SFbay area craigslist is rife with scammers. I know this, because I've gotten about three or four emails this morning about my Wicked like this:
i am Smith,i am from ohio i came across your advert today concerning the item you posted for sale,i am very much interested in
buying this item also i want you to tell me your last price of the bike and i will like to know about the present condition
of it and how much you are willing to let go of it...I will so much be
glad if you can sell to me and not to any other person,Because i will
be moving to my new apartment so for this reason i will love to have
it there.But i will like to tell you that due to the nature of my work
i will be paying with a Certified Check in US dollars ,so if you are
willing to sell get back to me or if you are not selling so i could go
else where and buy....But if you are willing to sell get back to me
with the following information so your payment can be forwarded to you
immediately..
FULL NAME
FULL HOME ADDRESS
ZIPCODE
CELLPHONE NUMBER
HOME CELL NUMBER
NOTE...when the check as been cleared from your bank then i can send
my shipper to come for the pickup immediately at your residence.
