1992 Alpinestars Al-Mega XT - NEW PICS! (page 2)

It was rude not to buy it, just for the rarity factor.... ;)

Alpinestars pretty much stopped selling in the UK around '94/95. You could still buy them in the states after that, and they dabbled in full-susser's too, but these are even harder to find on these shores.... ;)

Cheers Mike,

That weight difference is immense... this thing (believe it or not) doesn't weigh too much more than my Klein Attitude...

Cheers for the help with the Bullseye's, I'll have a look in to that (a matching rear hub would be cool, too  )

Proper photo's as soon as I can ;)

Looks very cool Steve  , i had the al-mega dx from the same year. You don't see many of these al-mega xt's now. What size is it ?

Cheers,

I'm loving the rarity, and I'm a bit of a sucker for the black paintwork...

She's 17.5" c-c and 19" c-t

I think the tyres turned up yesterday, but I missed the postie, cos he comes at like midday and I'm bu66ered if I'm gonna hang around for him all day.

Tues evening at the earliest for the pics

Been out riding it on the road all weekend though, and I LOVE it!! ;)

New pics today, after I got a nice set of Amber-wall's in the post, and added some Onza Bar-ends to the equation:
