Niiiccce. Slightly confused as to who built it though. Sachs or Hewitt?

Either way can only assume there's some SR11 heading for that?

It was built locally by Hewitts custom framebuilder who i think is one of the best ive ever seen.

His tig welds are simply superb and the lugwork on this is also perfect.

Thanks for the kind words folks. I am in love with this frame and cannot wait to hang the parts on this week.

I laced up the wheels last weekend and decided on Royce hubs built onto Ambrosia Excellence rims. Im refraining for using any carbon just lots of classic alloy parts.

Ill have some more piccies later this week :D

There is only one word for it......... stunning.

Actually two......... gorgeous.

Looking forward to seeing the built-up pics.

wait- PMP cranks? You're not talking about these are you?

Edit: The frame is extremely nice, I can see how pictures might not do it justice.. Make sure to take some pics in daylight when you're out on a ride!

Maiden voyage

Took it out today for the maiden voyage :D

70 miles over the Trough of Bowland. The bike was flawless and it rides exactly as i wanted it to.

The mixture of old style/look but using modern materials seems to work.

Im a very happy chap ;)

Looks amazing, what are the cranks????

I would make 1 change - get a slightly more svelte stem. Still looks fab though... Will it go out in the wet????
