Yep, awesome day but my god am I feeling it now :D

Wait till the morning... :p

Sorry I missed out on this one, but I'll borrow the route sometime ;)
Glad a good time was had by all. At least I got 14hours in at work - made it worth turning up!

Pictures from the day. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the more technical stuff

The tracks all look deceptively smooth in the pictures.

That cloud was not a welcome sight but thankfully it had passed the peak as we got there

Looks like a grand day out. Can't help but think how lucky you guys are getting out riding with your ladies, my other half won't go anywhere near a bike

Totally agree. Looks like a brilliant ride but I doubt my other half would want to join in.
Great scenery.

Would just like to clarify that is Mrs E_R and her sister. The other chap in the pictures is pjlarge who we've only just met as this was his RB ride debut, but he promises to join us in the future :D

I do feel lucky I can ride with Mrs E_R and hence why I gave the other RB ride a miss last week. She is also coming on leaps and bounds in her confidence :D

Having ridden that route before in a former life(modern) I can concur that it is not an Ideal introduce your other half to mountain biking as it is a bit of o grueller in parts, and the only times I've ridden it very muddy too ;)
