Mate, that is going to look great. A close colour match too. Not bad for FREE!
Like the WI hubs and crank, i think they compliment it nicely.
Green nipples is a nice touch too.
I look forward to seeing it finished.

Recently found the exact same frame at my local tip, nice to see it restored, given me a bit of food for thought.
Looks like you did a decent job on the laquer, the guys who bodged it up sound like cowboys. Looking forward to seeing it completed in due course. :D
 
just a quick thought, did the frame not have a bridge for the canti's on the seatstay or did you remove this? Or am I being really dumb :oops:

no canti bridge on kona's mate they use something called a dog collor to run the cable to the seat tube ;) :D

change of plans now going ahead with aome yellow judy sl's fitted with speed springs and such from taffy so im going king aheadset and judys with a club roost stem lol :D :shock:
 
some bad news i had to pay £90 for the paint job as it was getting a little out of hand not good but owner apologised for the muck up :cry: :cry: :cry:
