My what a biggun!

Price wise it's a good bit cheaper than a Xizang-that's if you can find one of course.
A good Xizang, maybe Â£400 for the frame only, that's my guess any way.
A complete Lightning (18 inch I think) went for about Â£440 on the Bay recently.

what's the difference between the Xizang and the Lightning?

I think the Xizang was originally built by Litespeed in the states, the Lightning was later when GT started sourcing alot of stuff from the far east, I'm not 100% sure if the lightnings came from Asia aswll though!?
Oh and the Xizangs are much shinier too

Full RRP on a Lightning was Â£1650ish. Think it has plain gauge tubing as the frame sticker on mine never mentioned any kind of butting and bike companies normally like to advertise this on their frames.
